I have been away (from being active, at least) for awhile.

There's tons for me to upload right now, but rather than explode with a million deviations at once, I'm going to take them day by day for now.

Pretty much I've been on hiatus since I started using and getting my own 5DmkII, and shooting quite a bit.  I've felt I've improved a lot in the last few months, and continued to build on my old visual aesthetic, replacing my 40D with the 5D and my 10-22 with a 16-35.

A lot of the last year has been tough in many ways, personally, both mentally and with literal circumstances, but I'm getting to a point where I can find fascination in the future, and not solely a sense of despair.  Negativity is a beast I am trying to slay permanently.  It dies slowly.

Anyone out there in DA land who is reading this, I hope you enjoy the uploads I shall be putting up in the near future.  I appreciate all the comments/favorites, as always!

Haha, thank you! That picture is skillfully cropped to eliminate my midsection, where my skin is super loose and stretchy...you don't get to be as big as I was and have your skin shrink back how you'd like, haha. But I still have some more weight to lose and muscle to gain, so I'll see how it goes. I have the freedom from distraction to focus on that here.

The colors and patterns in some of those pictures are really cool - the blues that exist in the eastern hemisphere are so vibrant. Always been interested in the Burj as well.

You're very welcome! Ahh that's normal with everyone that loses weight though. Keep it up, you're already on a good path. Haha, I envy you for that freedom. As soon as I land a good job... I'M OUT. It's hard to take care of yourself, health wise, when you're at home with people who don't support you. That's my problem and I have not been taking care of myself >.<

Thanks! The architecture in this place is just mind blowing. If ever you get a chance in the future to go, take it. You really only need a few days since it's such a small place.

I know what you mean. When you're still surrounded by family who cooks and takes care of a lot of other lifestyle things, it can be hard to achieve what you want personally in the sense of health. For me, I find a lot of what has worked for me has worked because of the control of consistency I'm able to give myself - I know what I'm going to eat, I can make sure it's the same size, same amount of food, same thing every day if I so choose - I know what is in and what's not in what I'm eating. And it's definitely a two sided fight between fitness and nutrition.

Best of luck finding a decent job... independence for our generation is definitely something not to be taken for granted - I've been on my own for awhile now but even that was reliant on being in college and being weaned off living off loans that I'm practically an indentured servant to now (just funny to think that it's all for Five Towns of ALL things, hah? I like to think I "bought my life" instead of "having went to college" Seems to make more sense to me).

Hi :)!

A bit late, but thank you very much for the fav ++time ago on my deviation 'I'm a Fake' :D!

I had a very busy year, but since the deviation is a very personal one I would like to thank you after al long, long time :D!

Best wishes,

Keizie

PS: this is a message I'm sending to everyone who faved it. I hope you won't feel offended that it's not that- personal. But with over 1000 favs on it is a bit hard to be personal sometimes.
