Description
Early April 2011, in Long Island NY. Photo by Ashyndeton.
I'm taking a pause through my forward momentum to chronologically catch up with my life through photos to upload some pictures that were mostly taken of me or things I did, primarily taken by Darren Hartman (Ashyndeton).
This was a few weeks after the previous set of pictures. We went off to a hill across the street from our house, buried away in a park area nobody used between a few major roads. One thing I've always missed about the East Coast are the sunsets, the great lighting. As I live in Portland now, in a valley with hills to the West, the sun basically disappears behind the hills before you get that great directional lighting of the sun low on the horizon.
At this point, I was in the best shape I had been in, until I would move to Portland and become about another 20lbs lighter and a bit more agile. I was running with my walking regularly at this point, and my freeweight level was around 20lbs instead of 15lbs (which, when I start over, always ends up being my default weight and the amount I usually lift). In any case, I thought a fun photoshoot would be apt, as we were also scouting the location to take band pictures for our EP artwork.
