This picture was taken at Bear Lake, which is both in Utah and Idaho, on the border. We were camping on the Idaho side. When we were visiting, the water was higher than normal, and some of the trees/plants that were normally on the shore were half underwater. The whole lake is pretty shallow and you can basically walk to the center of it, as I remember.
